How the AI tutor works
Atlas uses OpenAI to power its tutoring conversations. When your child chats with the tutor, each message they send—along with your child's first name, grade level, and reading level—is sent to OpenAI so it can write the tutor's reply. Email addresses are never sent to OpenAI.
